POSITION PURPOSE: Greets patients and families and provides comfort measures under the supervision of the Hospital CEO to maintain optimal patient experience atmosphere and enhance efficient patient flow. Assist with patient complaint resolution and tracking as well as reporting concerns or issues to appropriate director for follow up. Maintains patient satisfaction reports and assists with staff education related to Service Excellence. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our Mission, Vision, and Values. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Licenses or Certifications: CPR Certification preferred not required. Total Education, Vocational Training, and Experience: High School diploma. Two years experience preferred in hospital admissions. Previous experience in dealing with multi-tasking, problem solving and good computer skills. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to conduct thorough yet concise intake information gathering calls; Ability to understand medical terminology; Ability to gather financial (insurance) data; Knowledge of Hospital admissions and U.R. procedures; Ability to interpret and work within area hospital rules and regulations; Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to understand and execute basic marketing concepts; Good organizational skills; Ability to meet goals as set by supervisor. PROTECTED HEALTH INFORMATION: Position has Full Access to Protected Health Information of patients on Rehabilitation Unit and in Outpatient.
